SL Meme Maker is a free online tool for making memes with a Sri Lankan flavour. Pick a template — Colombo traffic, load shedding, an A/L results-day meltdown, a last-over collapse, Amma's slipper — or upload your own photo, add a caption in Sinhala, Tamil or English, and share it straight to WhatsApp.
Why we built it
Most meme generators assume an English-speaking, Impact-font audience. Sinhala and Tamil text usually breaks, renders as empty boxes, or is not supported at all. We bundle proper Unicode fonts so your caption looks the same on the downloaded image as it does while you type it.
How it works
- Everything runs in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to a server.
- No account, no watermark-removal paywall. Every meme is free to download.
