This policy explains what information SL Meme Maker ("we", "us") collects when you use https://sl-meme-maker.pages.dev, and how it is used.
The short version
- Your images are edited entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to us.
- We count how often each template is used, with no personal identifiers.
- We do not sell your data.
- We may show ads from Google, which use cookies as described below.
Information we collect
Images and captions
The meme editor runs locally on your device. The template or photo you choose, and the text you add, stay in your browser. When you download, copy or share a meme, the final image is produced on your device. We never receive it.
Template usage counts
When you download or share a meme, your browser sends the template's name
(for example colombo-traffic) to our server so we can rank the
Trending page. This request is not tied to your
identity. Your IP address may be briefly held (up to one minute) in a
cache key only to prevent a single visitor inflating the counts.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you provide so we can respond. We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Server logs & security
Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. We use your browser's
sessionStorage for small conveniences, such as remembering
that you dismissed a banner during your visit. This never leaves your
device. Third-party services below may set their own cookies.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-focused, collects no personal data and uses no cookies or fingerprinting.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent message is shown before personalised ads are served, in line with Google's requirements.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
